Lamella Separators

Tunetanken Lamella Separators are used especially to clean surface water from larger areas such as rooftops, roads, parking lots, and reinforced roads. Water must pass through sand traps before, it goes through the lamella separators.

The Lamella Separators are constructed to lead water through the filter block, securing a calm flow and a short distance between particles in the water the and the channels of the filter. In the filter channels, oil drops will gather and float to the surface, when large enough. Heavier particles like sand and sludge will precipitate in the sludge trap underneath the filter block.

The effect of the separators depends on the hydraulic load. Alternatively, a bypass pipeline can be implemented for greater effect.
