Farrowing Huts
Tunetanken Farrowing Huts are used for free range pigs. Farrowing Huts are spacious and provide the pigs with optimal feeding conditions. With a roof that can be opened and an entrance hatch, access is easy and secure when the pigs have to be inspected, registered, vaccinated, etc.
Tunetanken Farrowing Huts are designed with solar powered fans to provide ventilation inside of the Farrowing Hut. Walls and roof are finished with 50 mm insulation in order to protect the pigs against the heat and the cold.
Farrowing Huts are produced in composite material, a robust and resilient material that cannot rust. Composite material is naturally insulating, has water-tight properties as well as secures long life cycle.
